Planning for your Hawaii Vacation Cruise

Planning for your Hawaii vacation cruise can be overwhelming but with careful preparation you can experience the cruise you’ve been dreaming of. Unlike other destinations, Hawaii is an all-year round tourist attraction and there are reasons to go each time of the year. During the months of November to December, tourists flock to Hawaii to enjoy the tropical climate and escape the harsh winter months. This time of the year is also a must-go to catch a glimpse of the Humpback whales migrating for the winter. If you decide to go during the months of March to May, you’re in for a treat because Hawaii’s merry festival season stretches during these months. The months from June to August is ideal for the whole family to go on a cruise because the kids are on school break. However, Hawaii is least rainy during September to October so this time of the year is perfect to go too.

Since Hawaii is in the tropics, you can pack light for your Hawaii vacation cruise. There’s no need for those heavy coats and jackets. During the day, you only need tee shirts, shorts, sandals, and of course your swimsuits. Be sure to bring more than one swimsuit so you’ll always have a dry one to wear. Don’t forget to bring a sunscreen and a hat for your protection from the ever shining Hawaiian sun. To make sure that you see all the sights Hawaii has to offer be sure to bring a binocular. Of course, don’t forget your camera to save the memories from your Hawaiian vacation cruise for eternity. Most importantly prepare a waterproof bag for all the documents you need to bring during your travel.

Since you’re on a Hawaii vacation cruise, you’ll have activities and events lined up for you on board the cruise at night to keep you happy and busy. You may need to pack some smart casual outfits and even some formal wear like cocktail dresses for women and tuxedos for men. Don’t forget the stilettos and black shoes to complete your outfit for a night of fun-filled entertainment. If you don’t want to pack extra for these outfits you can arrange to rent a suit or a tuxedo on board the cruise ship. For dresses just be creative and mix and wear some of your outfits.

Planning can indeed be a nightmare but if you get organized and prepare a detailed checklist of what you need to do and bring the task will be less daunting and pretty soon you’re off to your dream Hawaii vacation cruise.
