In the meantime, the Haleakala crater is considered a tourist attraction for the more adventurous person. Even more thrilling is the bike ride that starts near the top of the 10,000 feet crater. 4. Snorkel in a crater. If visiting a crater is not enough for you, maybe snorkeling in one will seal the deal. The Malokini, is an extinct volcano in Maui and is home to about 250 fish species. The water is calm, clear, and pristine. The colorful varieties of fishes that will surround you is truly a delight to see and makes you experience the wonders nature has to offer up close.
5. Drink coffee. I know most of you start your day with coffee so what’s the big deal. Well, one of the most expensive and most desired coffee is found right here in Kona.
