More Cabin Information on your Hawaiian Cruise
Choosing the best cabin for your Hawaiian cruise need not be a headache. Here’s my guide for picking the right cabin for you.
1. Hawaiian cruise ships like any other cruises have a Grand suite which is the best cabin the cruise line has to offer. It has the most excellent view, the largest in size with a separate area for entertaining guests, and the best bathroom on board. Without doubt suite guests enjoy special privileges and better amenities that guests booked in standard cabins. Suites are located in the upper deck and the suite guests are given the privilege to disembark first from the ship. If price is not an issue for you I suggest you book their Grand suite.
2. Standard cabins in a Hawaiian cruise as well as any other cruises are classified into inner and outer cabins which depends on the location of the cabin. Outer cabins provide a view of the ocean while inner cabins do not. Most often than not, the cruise lines have already standardized the sizes of the cabins so that the size of an inner cabin is the same as an outer one and may range from 120 to 180 meters. The amenities in both types of cabins are the same and may include at television, a queen size bed or twin beds, a closet space for your clothes, air conditioning, and a few others. The only difference between the inner and the outer cabins is the outer cabins have a porthole or a small window which cannot be opened. You can see beautiful coastlines when the cruise ship is near the ports but for the most time you’ll only see the vast ocean. If you’re running on a tight budget then I suggest you just book the inside cabin. You can see a better view if you head out to the upper deck anyway.
3. Hawaiian cruise cabins may also be located on the upper deck or the lower deck. Since cruise ships have elevators this may not be a problem for you but if you have a disability or children in tow then it may be more convenient for you to book a cabin in the upper deck level. You can also consider booking a cabin near elevators.
4. Some Hawaiian cruise still offer bunk beds that are the cheapest accommodation you can get on a cruise. In cases when you have a really tight budget you may opt to book a bunk bed instead. These are scarce so be sure to book early.
Whatever cabin you may choose your cruise experience (and savings!) still depend on what kind of package you will ultimately choose. Cruise Direct
offers the cheapest packages available and their website is easy to navigate and understand. With their help you can choose the best Hawaiian cruise package that fits your budget.
