Remember that once you arrive you might have trouble finding transportation around. Taxis are not easy to come by. So if you are not content hanging out at Hilo Bay then make sure you inquire at your cruise if they offer guided tours. It will save you more time and convenience traveling with the expert tour guides plus, bring an umbrella. With 144 inches of rainfall chances are there will be rain when you go there.
